Abul Hashem Daptury

My beloved grandpa Abul Hashem, of noble standing tall
His wisdom shines through like a banner for all to recall
He gave me roots and turned his days into my history's walls.

A man of strength although quite humble yet kind, so debonair
With genuine love our family bond is beyond compare
When the light fades away he never dispared- not one careswear!

He was born in Bengal years ago near Padma’s flowing stream His courage to help those around him carries this long cherished dream Now I am inspired by his life story as well what it can mean.

My best tribute; Praise Allah who shaped Grandpapa Abul with grace No matter time passes we will miss seeing blessed your face But spirit does live thru these precious memories received from his loving embrace.

His smiles apart did set me quite,
Abul Hashem, ever in my sight.
No hug or kiss doth from him cease;
A gentle man with warmth and peace.
My loving grounds upon his feet;
Abul Hashem's eyes I oft entreat.

But grief sets in for I can not see-
This beloved one who means the world to me.
He has now gone but yet remains true,        in our hearts forever more etched new.
                             Deeply missed as years pass by -                  Abul Hashem will never die!
